The Burnley Supporters’ Club is running a four-day trip to Ireland to coincide with the Clarets’ pre-season friendly against Shamrock Rovers on Friday, 14 July.
Thursday 13th July
10:00 – Depart from Turf Moor to begin the trip to Holyhead on Anglesey and the afternoon crossing to Ireland.
14:15 – Irish ferries sailing departs from Holyhead to Dublin.
17:25 – Arrive in Dublin Ferry Port for a short journey south to the seaside resort of Bray where we stay for three nights at the Esplanade Hotel.
Friday 14th July
Time to enjoy and explore Bray after breakfast before departing to Dublin after lunch for the afternoon before going to watch the match against Shamrock Rovers at their Tallaght Stadium.
After watching the Clarets in action, return to the Temple Bar District in Dublin.
Saturday 15th July
A free day and a chance to visit Wexford and Waterford or to travel inland to the Wicklow Mountains or to visit the National Stud and Japanese Gardens at Tully.
Irish Oaks Day takes place at the Curragh, a 15-minute trip away from the National Stud.
Sunday 16th July
15:10 – Dublin Ferry Port for Stena Line sailing back to Holyhead.
18:40 – Arrive in Holyhead followed by the long trip back to East Lancashire.
21:45 – Arrive back at Turf Moor (ETA)
COST – Twin or Double room sharing is £365 (per person) with a single room being a £65 supplement.
All coach travel included, ferry trips and half board accommodation at the Esplanade Hotel. Any entrance fees for visitor attractions are not included. Deposit of £165 to be paid with completed booking form and balances to be paid by 30th June 2017.
