The Clarets' Development Squad has lined up seven pre-season friendlies as they build up toward the new campaign.
Coach Michael Jolley (above with assistant Andy Farrell) will hope these fixtures serve as preparation for a move into a competitive league next season, should the Clarets' Academy attain its targeted Category Two status.
The pre-season games kick-off with two derby fixtures as the Clarets face Barnoldswick Town on Saturday, 15 July and Colne FC on 18 July. Jolley’s side beat Colne 2-0 in the same fixture last summer.
A week later, the squad then travels to Cheshire to face Evo Stik First Division South promotion winners Witton Albion at Wincham Park on Tuesday, 25 July.
The Clarets then visit Brocton FC on Friday 28 July as part of the deal that brought defender Harry Flowers to Turf Moor, before travelling to Wisbech Town on 1 August to face the former club of teenage striker Harry Limb, who also completed a move to Burnley in March.
Jolley’s side will then step up their preparation with a visit to Norwich City U23s on Friday, 4 August before entertaining Derby County U23s at the Barnfield Training Centre on 8 August.
