Burnley's U18s are aiming high following a blistering recent run of form which has kept them in the hunt for the Youth Alliance North West title.
The improving Clarets currently sit sixth in the table on 31 points, following just one defeat in their last 10 league games.
That run, including a 1-0 victory over Morecambe last the weekend thanks to a goal from Tinashe Chakwana (above), leaves them 13 points behind league leaders Blackpool, who fell to a 2-0 defeat away to Wigan Athletic.
However, Michael Duff's side still has four games in hand over the table-topping Tangerines, with just three teams above them in the table still to play.
The weekend win over Morecambe was a third in four games for the Clarets, with only Blackpool, Walsall and Rochdale having lost fewer than Burnley's total of four defeats.
Burnley's youngsters host Wigan Athletic this coming Saturday, while Rochdale, who sit just above the Clarets in the table, travel to second-placed Walsall.
Blackpool, meanwhile, make the short trip to local rivals Preston North End , where the Lilywhites - who reached the quarter-finals of the FA Youth Cup - will be looking to keep out the league leaders and secure just their fourth win of the season.
The Clarets could potentially move up to fourth place on Saturday, depending on other results.
Burnley's first meeting with the Latics earlier in the season was definitely one to remember for the young Clarets.
After trailing 2-0 with just 10 minutes gone, Chakwana sparked a comeback just before the break with a sensational lob, before second-half goals from Tommy Wood, Tyler Shrimpton and Olatunde Bayode sealed all three points thanks to a 4-2 win.
