Saddle up as Nightrider Liverpool is back! Burnley FC in the Community is delighted to have a number of charity places available in the iconic Nightrider Liverpool. After a great reception in 2016 for the first Nightrider in the city, Nightrider Liverpool will be back in 2017 and is due to take place on the 15th/16th July.
Linking Liverpool and The Wirral the 100km circular route is made up of two 50km loops and riders can choose whether to cycle the Liverpool or the Wirral loop, or both!
Route highlights include the Queensway Tunnel, New Brighton, Royal Liverpool Golf Club, West Kirby, Caldy Sports Club, Port Sunlight, Albert Docks, Echo Arena, Empire Theatre, Penny Lane, Alder Hey Children's Hospital, Aintree, Goodison Park, Anfield and the Princes Dock.
Also, what makes this ride so special is participants take to the course at night so while the city sleeps riders can enjoy this unique experience!
After starting and finishing at Liverpool Waterfront, riders will receive full support throughout the night with regular break stops provided and a well-earned breakfast and medal upon returning to the finish line. Plus, every rider will receive a FREE set of Winglights worth approximately £25-30.
In return for a charity place Burnley FC in the Community are asking riders to pledge to raise a minimum of £200 in sponsorship to support the charity’s work. All riders are required to pay a £39 registration fee that goes directly to the ride organisers.
