VACANCIES: Sport Development Coach and Disability Development Coach

Burnley FC in the Community continues to embark on an exciting new chapter in its commitment to serving Burnley and the surrounding areas. The club’s official charity is now looking to recruit two enthusiastic, motivated and dedicated individuals to the full-time roles of Sport Development Coach and Disability Development Coach. Both roles will involve working closely with the Head of Sport on a range of community-based initiatives, ensuring our projects are accessible to all.

Job Vacancy:  Disability Development Coach 
Remuneration + benefits:  £14,000 – £19,000

 

28 days’ holiday (including bank holidays)   

Main Responsibilities: The Disability Development Coach will endeavour to plan, deliver and evaluate a wide range of sporting provision, whilst upholding the meticulous processes of monitoring and evaluation of programmes.
Contract type:  Full time fixed term contract until 30th June 2019 
Location:  Turf Moor, Burnley, BB10 4BX
Closing Date:  Monday 31st July 2017, 5:00pm
Interview Date:  w/c 14th August 2017

An ideal candidate will have:

  • FA Level 2 Certificate in Coaching Football
  • FA Coaching Disabled Footballers Award
  • FA Youth Award Module 1 (Module 2 desirable)

An ideal candidate will have:

  • FA Level 2 Certificate in Coaching Football
  • FA Youth Award Module 1 and 2
  • Level 3 Certificate in Supporting PE and School Sport (AfPE)
  • A sports coaching award in a second sport

With the support of the Head of Sport, the successful applicant will also be required to ensure strict monitoring and evaluation processes are followed, in order to provide the necessary evidence to all programme stakeholders.

Applicants will need to have a flexible approach to work and be able to work evenings, weekends and match days as required.
