Burnley Football Club is delighted to confirm the signing of Republic of Ireland international Robbie Brady from Norwich City for an undisclosed club record fee.
Brady, 25, has agreed a three-and-a-half-year contract at Turf Moor, with a further year’s option.
The left-sided player, who can operate in midfield or at full-back, ends an 18-month stay at Norwich.
Brady started 34 Premier League games for the Canaries last season after signing from Hull City.
The former Manchester United youngster has also been a regular for Norwich in the Championship this season and now returns to the top-flight after signing for the Clarets for a fee that exceeds the one Burnley paid for countryman Jeff Hendrick in the summer.
We will have more on the signing of Robbie following tonight’s game.
