Jeff Hendrick expects Burnley new-boy Robbie Brady to light up Turf Moor.
Brady replaced Hendrick as the Clarets' record signing when the midfielder joined Burnley from Norwich City on deadline day.
The Dublin-born pair are close pals from their days playing junior football together in Ireland.
And Hendrick believes his Republic of Ireland team-mate will be a big hit as part of Sean Dyche's squad, which also includes Irish international Stephen Ward.
"It's great for me to have another friend here. I think he will be brilliant for the team," said Hendrick.
"He's another good lad and I think everyone will see how good he is.
"He's got lots of qualities. I think everyone has seen it over the last few years, whether it was with Norwich, Hull, Ireland, and now he's going to be ready to show them here.
"He's got a great left foot and you could go on all day and talk about how good he can be for us and he's just got to show it now."
