Robbie Brady is confident he is joining a club on the up after becoming Burnley's record buy.
Brady completed a deadline day move from Norwich City after being pursued throughout the January transfer window by the determined Clarets.
The Republic of Ireland international signed a three-and-a-half-year deal - with the option of a further 12 months - at Turf Moor.
And the 25-year-old midfielder is delighted he is back in the Premier League with Sean Dyche's side, which moved up to ninth place in the table with Tuesday night's 1-0 home win over champions Leicester City.
"It's a great move for me," said Brady, who previously played Premier League football with both Norwich and Hull City.
"It's where everybody wants to be and for me to get the opportunity, and the manager to give me the opportunity, to come and play in it again is fantastic.

"I will grab it with both hands and hopefully I can do my bit to help the lads.
"It's been a fantastic start to the season and it looks like a club going in the right direction. I'm just buzzing that the manager has showed enough faith in me to want to bring me here and hopefully I can repay him.
"I'm ready to work hard and learn how things work here and hopefully I can fit in and do my bit."
Brady spent several hours at Turf Moor on Tuesday as the former Manchester United youngster waited for the deal to be completed at the Norwich end.
His club record signing was announced at half-time during the victory over the Foxes and having watched the Clarets' fifth successive home league win.
And Brady - a left-sided midfielder who will also offer valuable cover in a more defensive position - was impressed with what he saw on and off the pitch.
He told Clarets Player HD: "I thought the lads were amazing and it was a fantastic start for me to come and witness them play like that and get the win they deserved.
"Hopefully I can help add a few more wins to the board.
"I have always enjoyed coming to play here. I have played here on numerous occasions now and getting to feel the atmosphere I felt tonight was excellent and I'm ready to go."
