Michael Jolley's Development squad ran out 5-1 winners, cruising past Leicester City's Thai Academy.
Jamie Thomas, pictured above, bagged a brace while Tommy Wood and Tinashe Chakwana both scored after a trialist opened the scoring.
The Clarets side was scattered with trialists and one, a winger, got the first goal after tapping in from a nice move from Thomas in the area.
Thomas was then on hand to finish from close range to double Burnley's lead.
The Welsh teenager then bagged his second after a delightful chip over the oncoming goalkeeper, giving the Clarets a three goal lead at the break.
However, City came out raring for a goal and got one as their striker charged down a loose ball and took advantage of the keeper's mistake and tapped in to pull a goal back.
Not long after though it was in-form forward Tinashe Chakwana who was on the scoresheet, slamming the ball home after good work from Ali Koiki to get forward and assist.
And Leicester were hit for five late through a similar goal, as Chakwana turned provider and teed up Wood to slot home and secure the win.
