Burnley FC’s Premier League stars attended a presentation on Monday, given by Neil Hart, CEO at Burnley FC in the Community.
With the team securing promotion in May 2016, the club’s official charity has had a huge summer, with entry into the top-flight providing access to new programmes and increased funding.
New areas of development will include Premier League Girls and Premier League Primary Stars, with disability sport also receiving a huge boost in the region.
The players showed their support to Community by attending the workshop at Barnfield Training Centre, where they were informed about the department’s recent progress and watched Community’s video, that offers a snapshot of the charity’s impact on the region.
Players made a commitment to supporting the wide range of programmes delivered by Burnley FC in the Community, with seven players agreeing to come on board as ambassadors of the charity’s work.
