The Work Experience of a Lifetime programme, from LifeSkills created with Barclays helps young people secure placements with some of the most exciting organisations and brands in the UK.
After the success of 2015, LifeSkills are running the programme for a second year. The 5-day work experiences up for grabs this time include sports placements such as:
- The Premier League and clubs like Burnley FC
- British Athletics
- Entertainment opportunities with: Tinie Tempah’s record label Disturbing London
- The O2
- Football Manager
LifeSkills is designed to help young people get the skills and experiences they need to enter the world of work. The web site provides young people with interactive tools, giving them the chance to learn skills such as CV writing, interview skills, networking, problem solving, creativity, resilience, communication and managing online reputation.
