Poppy Shirt Auction 2016 - Now Closed!

18 November 2016

Burnley's last game against Crystal Palace marked the club's day of remembrance, commemorating those who gave their lives in conflicts around the world.

Burnley FC would like to thank all the supporters for the respect shown to the various servicemen and military veterans who attended the game.

Turf Moor staged a fitting moment of silence followed by a performance of the Last Post by Sgt Andy Manning.

Also before the match representatives from the Poppy Appeal were selling poppies to fans and managed to raise a total of £678.12 for the Royal British Legion.

Burnley players also wore shirts proudly carrying the Royal British Legion poppy logo and we are now delighted to put these match-worn or prepared shirts up for auctions.

The Poppy Shirt Auction has now closed. Any bids received after 5pm will unfortunately not be counted.
