Goalscorer Andre Gray kicked off a win double for the Clarets at the MBNA Northwest Football Awards.
Gray was named NW Championship player of the year after scoring 23 goals to finish as the division's top scorer and lead Burnley to promotion to the Premier League last season as title winners.
The 25-year-old Clarets’ striker - who also scored twice for Brentford before making the switch to Turf Moor in August, 2015 - beat Blackburn Rovers winger Ben Marshall and Preston North End defender Greg Cunningham to the prize chosen by a panel of north west football experts.
The Clarets’ Community department was also among the winners at the prestigious event at Lancashire County Cricket Club’s Old Trafford home on Monday night.
Burnley FC was named as community club of the year outside the Premier League, as well being short-listed for the initiative of the year for its Parents on the Ball project.
