Clarets captain Tom Heaton has been named in Roy Hodgson’s 26-man squad for England's UEFA Euro 2016 preparation fixtures.
Heaton, who is waiting for his first cap, will link up the Three Lions at St Georges’ Park on Wednesday 18 May, ahead of the friendly against Turkey at the Etihad Stadium five days later.
England will then face Australia in Sunderland and Portugal at Wembley before heading to their base in France.
The Clarets stopper has impressed again during the 2015/16 season, keeping 20 clean sheets on the way to lifting the Sky Bet Championship trophy.
And should he play in the finals, Heaton will be the first Burnley player to make an appearance for England at a major tournament since goalkeeper Colin McDonald played all four games in the 1958 FIFA World Cup.
Everyone at Burnley Football Club would like to congratulate Tom on his call-up.
