Referee Michael Oliver will officiate Monday's Sky Bet Championship clash against Derby County at Turf Moor.
Oliver became the youngest Premier League referee in Premier League history aged 25 when he took charge of Birmingham City v Blackburn Rovers in 2010.
The Select Group official has taken charge of 18 games so far this season, including two Europa League ties, issuing 64 yellow cards and 5 red cards.
Last season, he officiated the Clarets’ 0-0 home draw with Stoke City in the Barclays Premier League at Turf Moor.
Three players were booked on that occasion, George Boyd for the Clarets and two for the visitors.
Mr Oliver will be assisted by Mr Darren Cann, Mr Scott Ledger and fourth official Tony Harrington.
