Kevin Long was on the scoresheet for Barnsley as they hammered Rochdale 6-1 at Oakwell to continue their unbeaten start to 2016.

The Clarets centre-back headed home Conor Hourihane’s delivery in the 90th minute to complete the rout.

Elsewhere, Ntumba Massanka made his first Football League start for York City in their 1-1 draw against Carlisle United before being replaced by Bradley Fewster on 64 minutes.

Luke Hendrie completed the full 90 minutes for the Minstermen as Luke Summerfield’s late strike earnt them a point.

Daniel Lafferty played the full 90 minutes in Oldham’s 1-0 defeat to Bury, while compatriot Cameron Dummigan missed out through injury.

Conor Mitchell made his first start for Bradford Park Avenue as they were defeated 3-1 by AFC Telford away from home and winger Josh Ginnelly also made his league debut for Altrincham, but could not help prevent a 5-0 defeat to Grimsby.

Alex Whitmore helped Gateshead to a clean sheet against Torquay in their 2-0 victory, while Jason Gilchrist was an unused sub for Chester.
