Sean Dyche insists he is happy to send his players out on loan to gain valuable first team match fitness.
Four Clarets exited Turf Moor on Thursday, with Cameron Dummigan and Danny Lafferty both extending their loans at Oldham and Development Squad duo Luke Hendrie and Conor Mitchell joining York City and Bradford Park Avenue respectively.
Dyche, who admitted more may follow that quartet, insisted: “We have call-backs on most of the lads after the first 28 days, but it’s apparent for Cameron because, along with Danny Lafferty, he was having a good run at OIdham.
“Danny was as well, before he had his unfortunate collar bone injury.
“But Cameron also had nigh on a year of injury and we wanted to get him first team football, which was a knock to him and us because we wanted to get him involved.
“It’s important that he, and Danny get that to keep them sharp.
Luke and Conor have gone out also to get some action and we will monitor them, of course.”
