Dyche: More Of The Same Please

2 February 2016

Burnley manager Sean Dyche has called for more of the same from his players in tonight’s Roses clash at Sheffield Wednesday.

The Clarets have recorded back-to-back away league wins, scoring eight times in the process at MK Dons and Brentford to climb stealthily up to third in the Championship.

Wednesday, meanwhile, host the Clarets with six straight home league wins behind them and having only lost one game at Hillsborough all season, against second placed Middlesbrough back in August.

Dyche said: “Sheffield Wednesday have brought in some very good players.

“They are financially strong but you get out on the pitch and its 11 vs 11 and we have made a good show of ourselves in general this season away from home, particularly lately when we are taking these games on.

“It is down to us performing in the same manner.

“I think our away performances have been good for a while now. We had a little bumpy run, but I thought in some of our performances we were still strong.

“We created chances and now we are taking those chances… and long may that continue.”
