Dyche And Mee Up For January Sky Bet Championship Awards

Clarets boss Sean Dyche and Ben Mee have both been shortlisted for the Sky Bet Championship Manager and Player of the Month awards respectively.

Dyche, who was nominated for the October award, saw his side gain 10 points and score 12 goals in a free-flowing month in the Championship.

He will face competition from Gary Rowett (Birmingham City), Steve Bruce (Hull City), and Dougie Freedman (Nottingham Forest).

Ben Mee has been rewarded for some standout defensive performances as the Clarets conceded just two league goals in four outings.

The brave defender moved in the centre of defensive alongside Michael Keane and is starting to form a formidable partnership with the former England U21.

He goes up against Maikel Kieftenbeld (Birmingham City), Abel Hernandez (Hull City) and Gary Hooper (Sheffield Wednesday).

The judging panel for the Player of the Month comprises Sky Sports’ Football League expert Don Goodman; Football League Head of Communications John Nagle; League Managers’ Association Director Olaf Dixon
and Sky Bet Football Trading Manager Paul Lowery.

The judging panel for Manager of the Month comprises former Ipswich Town manager George Burley, Sky Sports’ Football League expert Don Goodman; Football League Chief Operating Officer Andy Williamson; League Managers’ Association Director Olaf Dixon and Sky Bet Football Trading Manager Paul Lowery.

All winners will be announced on Friday 5th February 2016.
