Burnley Football Club can confirm that goal music will not be a feature at Turf Moor this season.

A recent poll of supporters voted in favour of stopping the music.

The 1,702 votes cast were as follows:
No music: 57.8%
Retain music: 38.6%
Not bothered either way: 3.6%.

Following a season-long trial, supporters will be polled on this issue again next summer, when a final, long-term decision will then be made.
