The Development Squad celebrated silverware by edging out Stoke City 2-1 to win the Final Third Development League trophy.
Tinashe Chakwana, pictured above, and Cameron Dummigan were on target for the Clarets in the final of the competition held over from last season.
Burnley took the lead in the second half as Ntumba Massanka intercepted a poor back pass from City midfielder Sergio Melina and squared the ball to Chakwana, who slotted past keeper Daniel Bachmann.
Stoke replied 10 minutes later as winger Thibaud Verlinden found Julien Ngoy lurking at the back post.
But the Clarets, with Liverpool loan signing Jon Flanagan in their ranks, had the last word to run out winners.
A long ball upfield from keeper Nick Pope found Dummigan outside the box and the defender turned wonderfully to find the back of the net and bring the trophy to Turf Moor.
A full report will follow on Friday morning.
