Join our Clarets Challenges this summer!

6 April 2016

This summer we have two exciting challenges for both staff and fans to get involved with to raise money for Burnley FC in the Community:

• Firstly, on the 5th June, we have the Burnley 10K run which we are delighted to be an official partner charity of this year. Places are FREE to register, with a minimum fundraising target of £75.

This is a great distance for new and seasoned runners, and can be completed as a run, jog or walk. Most of our spaces have already been snapped up so make sure you book soon to avoid missing out!

You can sign up here:

• Secondly, we have the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge on the 19th-21st August. This takes in the beautiful landscape of the Yorkshire Dales, hiking over Pen Y Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough, covering 24 miles in total.

The challenge is to cover this distance in under 12 hours and the event will be led by our own Community expedition leaders. Included in the £25 registration fee is 2 nights’ accommodation in a local bunkhouse and limited transport places to and from the challenge.

All money raised goes towards delivering our 30+ projects in the local area, with over 35,000 people benefiting from them in the past year. We’re hoping to build on last year’s success and see even more people taking part in our challenges this year.

If you’d like to join us and you have any questions, please get in contact with Gemma Avery (gemma.avery@burnleyfc.com).
