After our hugely successful Community Day against Leeds United, Burnley FC in the Community are now auctioning all the shirts worn by the players on the day of the game - including that of Scott Arfield, who scored the game’s match-winning goal!
The fixture, which saw the Clarets secure three vital points in front of the Sky Sports cameras, celebrated the work of Burnley FC in the Community and raised funds to support the delivery of our life-changing projects.
In a generous gesture from official Burnley FC shirt sponsor Oak Furniture Land, our Community logo took pride of place on the front of the team’s claret and blue shirts.
CEO of Burnley FC in the Community, Neil Hart, said: “Community Day was a great success for us and for the players to wear our logo with pride on their kits was a huge highlight!
“Every penny raised from the auctioning of these very special shirts will go to supporting our charitable work here in Burnley and the surrounding areas.”
All money raised from the shirts will go to supporting our charitable work here in Burnley. We are an entirely self-financing organisation and these funds will help run our projects in Health, Sport, Education and Social Inclusion.
A total of nineteen shirts will be open to bid for via Burnley FC in the Community’s eBay account including those worn by are leading goal-scorer, Andre Gray, Captain, Tom Heaton, and the Clarets’ dynamic midfielder, Joey Barton. Fans are urged to keep their eyes peeled on both the Community and Club social media accounts every day from 6pm to see which players’ shirts are revealed.
Don’t miss out on this chance to own signed memorabilia from a big day for the team and Burnley FC in the Community!
