Clarets duo Sam Vokes and Joey Barton are both “touch-and-go” for Tuesday’s big clash with Middlesbrough.
Striker Vokes sat out Saturday’s vital win at Birmingham City with a groin strain, while midfield lynchpin Barton was substituted at half time with a tight calf.
And boss Sean Dyche will make a late decision on both ahead of the game, which sees the top two meet at Turf Moor.
Dyche said: “We are touch and go with Sam, but we think he’s in a good place, so we will see how he is on Tuesday morning. It’s the same with Joey, but other than that everyone is good.”
A full preview will appear here on Tuesday morning.
