Match Guide: Sheffield Wednesday

Tickets for tomorrow’s game (Category B) against Sheffield Wednesday are still on sale in all areas of the ground, aside from the David Fishwick Stand.

They can be purchased up until 9am on matchday online and tickets can be purchased in person at the Turf Moor ticket office right up until kick-off.

Tickets can be collected right up until kick-off from the ticket office or the matchday ticket collection point and fans are advised to arrive early to ease congestion.


Fans are advised that there will be a road closure on Harry Potts Way from 1pm on matchday.

The Harry Potts car park will be open for home and away club directors and guests, club staff and other non-public/supporter vehicles. Access in to this car park is available at all times, except from 20 minutes before the end of the fixture and for a safe period following the fixture to allow the supporters to leave the stadium.

The North East compound in the car park, accessible from Ormerod Yard will be allocated for players, match officials and selected TV media staff. 

Staff members, Hospitality guests and disabled drivers with ‘interior mirror passes’ will have access to the rest of the North East Car Park accessible via the entrance near the Clarets Store.

This car park closes 45 minutes before kick-off and reopens after a safe period of time to allow supporters leave the stadium.

Supporters should allow extra time for arriving at and leaving the stadium due to the ongoing roadworks on Centenary Way in Burnley and on the M65.


Reception 9am. – 4.45pm

Ticket office – 9am until 3.45pm

Clarets Store – 9am until kick off, then full time for about 30 minutes

Hospitality areas open at 12.00pm

Turnstiles open at 1.45pm


The newly branded Burnley FC Fanzone is being relaunched ahead of this Saturday’s game against Sheffield Wednesday!

Located between the Jimmy McIlroy and James Hargreaves stands, the Fanzone’s new revamped marquee houses seats, tables and televisions, as well as award winning real ales, courtesy of Moorhouse’s Brewery.

Wood Fired Pizza and fast food will also be on sale, with Burnley FC in the Community hosting the inflatable target shot.

Doors open at 12noon and it's free for all fans to enjoy, so come down early before the match between the Clarets and the Owls!  

The Foundation bar, located in the Jimmy McIlroy Stand will be open from 12.00pm to members.  It will not be open post-match but fans can enjoy a pint in the Fanzone.

A live lunch time game (Sky or BT sport) be screened in all concourses prior to kick off.
