Cyprus v Wales

UEFA European Championship Qualifier

Sam Vokes is in action tonight as Wales travel to the GSP Stadium in Nicosia to take on Cyprus in Group B.

Wales currently head up the group after a 1-0 victory over Belgium last time out. Vokes replaced Real Madrid star Gareth Bale on 87 minutes in that fixture.

San Marino v England
Saturday 5th September (5pm kick-off)
UEFA European Championship Qualifier

Tom Heaton is only Sky Bet Championship player to be named in Roy Hodgson’s England squad for their European Qualifiers against San Marino away and Switzerland at home.

Joe Hart is likely to start in goal for the Three Lions, and Stoke City’s Jack Butland is also involved after an impressive start to the Barclays Premier League season with Stoke.

England host Switzerland at Wembley on Tuesday 8th September (7.45pm kick-off).

Gibraltar v Republic of Ireland

UEFA European Championship Qualifier

Stephen Ward has joined up with the Republic of Ireland squad for their games against Gibraltar and Georgia.

Martin O’Neill’s men face Gibraltar in Faro, Portugal tomorrow night before hosting Georgia at the Aviva Stadium on Monday, September 7.

Ward was an unused substitute in the last game for his country, as they drew 1-1 with Scotland at home. Jonathan Walters’ goal was cancelled out by Shaun Maloney’s deflected effort to deny Ireland their third qualifying win.

Northern Ireland U21s v Scotland U21s
Saturday 5th September
U21 European Championship Qualifier

The Clarets trio could feature in their U21 European Qualifiers against Scotland on Saturday, September 5, before travelling to Iceland for their second qualifier.

The call-up is Mitchell’s first at this level, while Dummigan appeared for the U21s in September, 2014.

Left-back Luke Conlan, who is on a season-long loan at St. Mirren, has also been called up to the squad.

Youth Team striker Khius Metz has been selected in the Republic of Ireland U19 squad to face Italy in Cava de’ Tirreni.
