Loan Watch

19 October 2015

Find out how the Clarets on loan fared over the weekend.

Luke Hendrie made his league debut for Sky Bet League Two side Hartlepool United as they recorded a 0-1 victory at Dagenham and Redbridge.

The Clarets full-back, who recently netted in the U21 Premier League Cup win over Barnsley, played the full 90 minutes as Billy Paynter’s solitary strike proved the difference.

Elsewhere, Cameron Dummigan and Daniel Lafferty both played 90 minutes as 10-man Oldham drew 1-1 with Sheffield United at Boundary Park.

Danny Philliskirk saw his header cancelled out by a wonder strike from Matt Done, before Jonathan Burn was dismissed on 62 minutes for the Latics. David Dunn’s side hung on for a point.

Danijel Nizic was an unused substitute as Crewe Alexandra lost 1-0 at home to Gillingham. Rory Donnelly’s curling effort saw the Gills move top of Sky Bet League One.

Luke Conlan was also an unused substitute as St Mirren recorded a 1-0 victory over Livingston.
