Turf Moor is to host an evening with Burnley-born goalkeeper Rachel Brown-Finnis on Monday 18th May.
The 34-year-old goalkeeper, who called time on a prestigious career in the game earlier this year, will be talking to guests about her career and her experiences in the game.
Brown-Finnis made her England debut at 16 and featured at two World Cups, earning 82 caps, and played at the 2012 Olympics for Great Britain after starting out with a boy’s team in Burnley at the age of 10.
In the domestic game, she spent the majority of her career with Everton Ladies after joining in 2003 and helping them to win the FA Women’s Cup in 2012.
The event starts at 6pm and will take place at in the Jimmy McIlroy Stand (UCFB entrance) and those wishing to attend are asked to email AD22B13MCD@ucfbstudent.com due to limited availability (100 seats).
