The two year course based at Nelson & Colne College will provide students with a natural route into higher education for courses such as foundation degrees and honours degrees in sport related disciplines, there are also opportunities to progress into employment in areas such as sports coaching, sports development, leisure management, coaching and instructing of specialist disciplines.
Students aiming to secure a place on this course will need to be current Year 11 students and will be required to gain 5 GCSEs Grade A* to C (including 3 from Maths, English, Science and PE) or a merit grade on a BTEC Level 2 Diploma in Sport.
