Big Away Day Bike Ride!

6 May 2015

The Big Away Day Bike Ride is the first of Burnley FC in the Community’s ‘Clarets Challenges’; a series of four fundraising events that are taking place throughout 2015…and the epic cycle ride is now well underway!

Kicking off at the Burnley vs. West Ham game at the Boleyn Ground on 2nd May, the cycle ride will finish this Saturday at the Burnley vs. Hull City game at the KC Stadium.

The group of 11 riders, which includes 2BR drive-time DJ Christopher Dean and Burnley FC Catering Manager Chris Gibson, are on course to complete the 400+ mile ride which stops by every Premier League ground en route to Hull. With West Ham, Chelsea, QPR, Arsenal, Tottenham, Leicester, Aston Villa, West Brom and Stoke already ticked off the list, the cyclists will hit Liverpool today and Manchester tomorrow.

All the money raised from The Big Away Day Bike Ride will go to supporting the charitable work of Burnley FC in the Community and the work of other charities and not-for-profit organisations local to Burnley, Pendle and Rossendale via the Burnley FC Charity Fund.

You can show your support to these amazing Claret cyclists by texting ‘BABR15 £3’ (or any amount you choose) to 70070 and make a donation today to Burnley FC in the Community.
