There’s just 18 days to go until the Barry Kilby Prostate Cancer Appeal comes to an end - and fans are being urged to donate while they still can.
In an effort to raise funds for the Appeal, Kilby recently launched a short story: ‘As Good As Some’, which follows the story of a rising star in the top league of English football as he battles to come to terms with his blossoming sexuality.
You can purchase Kilby’s short story for just £1.99 by clicking HERE.
Although available exclusively in the Amazon Kindle store, the story is also available to fans without Kindles via the use of a Kindle reading app for your tablet, smartphone or computer which can be downloaded for free HERE.
Fans can also support the Appeal by donating to Barry’s JustGiving page HERE.
The Appeal is just £90 away from its target at present so all donations, however big or small, would be greatly appreciated.
Donate to Barry’s appeal or buy his short story before Saturday, May 23 and you’ll be helping to raise funds in support of prostate cancer initiatives that could save the lives of men in your local area.
CAN WE COUNT ON YOUR SUPPORT?
The appeal was officially launched at the game against Leicester City late last month, with Kilby taking to the big screen in front of 19,500 fans to urge them to donate to this worthwhile local appeal.
Proceeds from the bucket collection before the game and funds raised by the matchday draw will also be donated to the Appeal.
