Lotteries Department Canvass For Support

Residents of Burnley can expect a friendly knock on their doors as the Lottery department’s team of canvassers make their way around the town in a bid to reach out to supporters.

The primary focus of the door-to-door campaign is to recruit new members into the Clarets Foundation, raising vital funds for the club’s youth development programme through this exclusive members club, set up in 2002.

The wonderful folk who take the opportunity to support the club, following a visit from the canvassing team, will be helping to support the day-to-day running of the Academy, finance training facilities and equipment and provide quality coaching for all of our young Clarets.

Our canvassers have received comprehensive training, enabling them to speak on behalf of the club and you can be sure that they represent Burnley Football Club, as each canvasser has been provided with an official ID badge signed by Barry Kilby, a Clarets Foundation sign-up form and other official promotional material.
