A message from the Burnley Football Club Safety Team to all Manchester City Supporters attending Turf Moor on Saturday, March 14.
Burnley Football Club welcome the supporters of Manchester City to Turf Moor on Saturday, March 14, 2015.
We are a family club and pride ourselves on providing excellent customer service and an enjoyable atmosphere.
We have created a ‘Fan Zone’ exclusively for Manchester City fans in the Harry Potts Car Park, next to where the coaches drop off, where they can meet with fellow supporters and watch chosen MCFC highlights on TV before entering the stand. This will not affect car parking spaces for current car park permit holders.
Both clubs are working together to make this match the best experience it can be for all supporters.
In order to do this, we take steps to stop those who may spoil such an enjoyable atmosphere from entering the ground.
Burnley Football Club will inform Manchester City of the details of any person who is arrested, refused entry through drunkenness or ejected for any reason.
Manchester City’s Safety Team will then have the option of taking action against the individual.
For those of you travelling by car, there is a large car park at Towneley Park, Todmorden Road, BB1 3RQ.
There will be a small cost for this council run car park.
The Park is about a 5-10 minute walk away from the ground.
Other car parks and directions to the ground can be obtained HERE
Inside the concourse, there will be bars and kiosks open pre-match.
At half time, the kiosks will sell local pies and other snacks but the bars will be closed.
There are eight automatic visiting supporter turnstiles at the David Fishwick stand.
Please present the barcode facing up and then push the turnstile once the ‘Enter’ message appears.
There are 4,000 supporters entering these eight turnstiles so we strongly recommend you arrive with time to spare to ensure that you can get through the security cordons and turnstiles before kick off.
We look forward to seeing you at the weekend.
