Burnley FC in the Community, the official charity of Burnley Football Club, are heading to Ghana once more and they are recruiting adventurous volunteers to join them on this opportunity of a lifetime!
And with the deadline fast approaching, they are urging all those who want to get involved to register soon!
From 24th October to 2nd November 2015, Burnley FC in the Community will embark on the week-long mission to Woe, Ghana.
Teaming up with African Adventures - the UK’s most effective volunteer travel organisation - the charity are returning to build on the community development work they carried out at the Dedzidi Community School last October.
The trip also aims to raise funds to support the charitable work of Burnley FC in the Community and other local charities, via the Burnley FC Charity Fund.
Volunteers can choose how they help, with project roles ranging from football coaching to carrying out building work and teaching at the Dedzidi Community School.
The trip also includes an exciting adventure weekend where volunteers will get the chance to experience Ghana’s fascinating culture and enjoy the breath-taking natural beauty of the region.
Volunteers aged 16+ are welcome (under 16s must be accompanied by a parent/guardian) and there is no upper age limit.
All aspects of the trip will be organised by African Adventures and Burnley FC in the Community, including fundraising support for all volunteers.
