Burnley Football Club are pleased to host the SOLD OUT ‘Burnley v Cancer Charity Fundraiser’ in the James Hargreaves Suite on Friday evening.
Burnley teacher Lauren Fallows organised the Burnley vs Cancer casino night last year, and is set to embark on another fund-raising mission, with ‘gangster speakeasy’ this year’s theme.
Gambling, drinking and dancing will again be on the menu, with all money raised on the night going to Cancer Research UK and Prostate Cancer.
“Last year’s event came off the back of losing a family member of ours, my Grandad Martin, to prostate cancer,” said Lauren, a teacher at St Wilfrid’s Academy in Blackburn.
“My dad, owner of John Fallows Accountants, and I wanted to throw a huge event to bring the people of Burnley together and that’s exactly what we are doing again this year.
“We raised just over £4,000 last year and the aim is to hopefully raise a little more but have a fantastic night in the process.
A reminder that tickets for the event are SOLD OUT!
