Striking trio Jelle Vossen, Sam Vokes, and Marvin Sordell are set to return for tonight’s first team friendly at Fleetwood.
However, new signing Chris Long will play no part after signing a three-year deal at Turf Moor on Tuesday.
Clarets boss Sean Dyche confirmed that he could welcome back all three frontmen at the Highbury Stadium.
Vossen has not featured since his solitary, goalscoring appearance for the club at Accrington Stanley, following his summer move from Koninklijke Racing Club Genk.
Likewise Vokes and Sordell, who also played in the first warm-up game against Etoile Carouge, have been sidelined since the game at Stanley.
Since then, Lukas Jutkiewicz has led the line, scoring three times to press his claims for a starting role when the Championship season gets underway in 11 days.
The Clarets are otherwise at full strength as they face former Claret Graham Alexander’s side in tonight’s 7.45pm KO on the Fylde coast.
However, fellow striker Long will not feature following his introduction to his new team-mates this morning.
Instead, the former Everton hitman, 20, could make his Turf Moor bow in Michael Duff’s testimonial match against Bradford City this Saturday.
