Academy Manager Jason Blake welcomes the new scholars and believes their education is of equal importance to the group.

He said: “We are delighted welcome the new intake and their families to the club and we have spoken to them about what the next two years are about, not just the playing side but about their education too.”

The Academy have also appointed Adam Yates as their new Strength and Conditionong coach.

Blake added: “We are delighted to welcome Adam to the club. From a day-today basis he is going to work with the under 18’s, but along with Alex Ouzounoglou, he will support the schoolboy strength and conditioning program too.

Adam is a very good adition, we are looking forward to him starting and equally he is keen to come in and that enthusiasm will be a great injection into the group.”
