Jimmy Robson Speaks To Turf

5 January 2015

Pick up your special FA Cup programme tonight, priced at just £2!

Tonight’s special retro edition of Turf features an interview with 1962 FA Cup final goalscorer and Burnley legend Jimmy Robson on his memories of that day and the semi-final twelve months earlier.

Robson’s goal that day in May 1962 was the 100th FA Cup final goal at Wembley, but unfortunately the Clarets didn’t go on to win the game, losing out 3-1 to Spurs.

Elsewhere, the Clarets squad and staff give their favourite memories of the competition down the years and Clarets fan Jason Taylor reflects on a famous night at Turf Moor against tonight’s opposition and its repercussions.

We’ve also got the thoughts from gaffer Sean Dyche and skipper Jason Shackell, ‘Top Tweets’ and ‘On This Day’.

As well as being available around the ground on a matchday, Turf, will also be available this evening to view in all its glory via our dedicated digital download App.

And to make it easier to locate ‘Turf’ in the Apple Store, we’ve now completely re-branded the Matchday Digital App as a Burnley FC App.

Simply search for ‘Burnley FC MDP’ in the app store.
