Stuart Attwell will take charge of Saturday’s Sky Bet Championship clash against QPR at Loftus Road.
So far this season, the Warwickshire-based official has refereed 20 games, producing 64 yellow cards and three reds in the process.
The last Clarets fixture he took charge of was the Sky Bet Championship fixture against Nottingham Forest in October, which ended in a 1-1 draw.
There were five bookings on that occasion; including Michael Keane and Ben Mee for the Clarets. With Forest’s Henri Lansbury seeing red for a late lunge on Mee.
Mr Attwell will be assisted by Matthew Buonassisi, Lee Venamore and Fourth Offiical Simon Hooper.
