Referee Mark Clattenburg will take charge of Saturday's Sky Bet Championship game between Hull City and the Clarets at the KC Stadium.
So far this season the County Durham-born based official has taken charge of 22 games, where he has produced a total of 78 yellow cards and two reds.
The last Burnley game he officiated was the 1-0 Barclays Premier League victory over Southampton at Turf Moor in December 2014.
Three Southampton players and George Boyd went into his notebook on that occasion.
Mr Clattenburg will be assisted by Mr Gary Beswick, Mr. Michael McDonough and Fourth Official Mr. Mark Haywood.
