Andre Gray is eyeing more goals this Christmas to fire Burnley right back into the promotion hunt.
The Clarets striker made it into double figures for the club with his 10th goal of the campaign in the 4-0 weekend win over Charlton.
Gray’s strike against The Addicks, his first goal in five games, took his impressive tally to nine in his last eight games at Turf Moor!
And the former Brentford striker is now keen to add to his solitary strike, away at Rotherham, to get the Christmas schedule off to a flying start.
Gray said: “We needed that win going into Christmas. Myself and the team had gone a few games without scoring, but a result like that has been coming, I think, and it was good to get up and running again.
“Hopefully we can keep on now and score some more at Hull on Saturday, before we come back to Turf Moor to play Bristol City.”
The Clarets currently have the hoodoo over City, winning nine of their last 10 meetings, including their last five on Humberside.

And with the Boxing Day clash representing the half way mark of the season – and City representing the last team Burnley still have to play – Gray believes now is the tim to start turning the screw on their top five rivals.
He added: “We are approaching the half way mark, so we’re into the business end of the season now and it’s now that matters more than ever.
“Hopefully we can get another of those runs going and climb back up the league.”
