Burnley manager Sean Dyche feels his never-say-die side will get stronger as the season goes on!
Saturday`s visit to Cardiff City saw the Clarets dramatically rescue an unlikely point with an incredible fightback in the last five minutes.
And Dyche, whose side sit in fifth place in the Championship table, just four points behind the leaders, insists the second half of the season is historically when his players show their true mettle.
Dyche said: “I’m just delighted with the mentality of the players, because that`s a real strong thing to have.
“We’ve shown it many, many times and we are still showing it now and that’s a big thing to have, during the season.
“We know how physically powerfully we are going into and after the winter period and that’s a big thing to have, mixed with the quality we have within the squad.”
Burnley are now unbeaten in nine games after Saturday`s stunning turnaround.
And keeping a positive attitude is something Dyche feels will be vital, as the gruelling Championship season enters a typically busy period.
Dyche added: “Every Burnley fan probably feels as though that was a win. Cardiff is a tough place to go and people forget they’ve beaten Middlesbrough and Reading there. They are a good side and they keep clean sheets.
“We didn’t think it was going to be a walk in the park and, make no mistake, we had decisions go against us but we came out with a valid point and a strong finish."
