Tendayi Darikwa says Burnley fear no one in the Sky Bet Championship ahead of their trip to high-flying Middlesbrough.
The weekend stalemate against QPR made it eight games unbeaten on the road for Sean Dyche’s men.
And while the trip to Teesside, against a side who have kept six clean sheets in a row at home, will provide a test, Darikwa feels there is no reason the Clarets can’t pick up all three points.
He said: “It was disappointing not to win the game on Saturday but we came away with a clean sheet and a decent point away.
“It’s going to be another tough game for us because Middlesbrough are doing well in the league but we try to focus on ourselves and get the three points.
“I think at the start of the season they were tipped by many people to be promotion candidates and they’re on the right path.
“With the players we’ve got, there is a lot of quality so we don’t fear anyone in this league. We’ll respect Middlesbrough like we do every team but we’ll go there to play our game.”
The Middlesbrough clash kick-starts a busy and potentially crucial juncture of the season around Christmas.
Charlton Athletic, Bristol City and Hull City are the opponents in quick succession and the 24-year-old full-back believes the one game at a time mentality will stand the team in good stead.
“All of the games are just important as each other. We are playing the teams who are just above us but we try not to read into that too much.
“We just treat each game with equal importance as the next one.
“It’s demanding physically but the games come around thick and fast and as players you can’t wait until matchday so it’s pleasing to have a lot of games in a short space of time.”
