Sam Vokes and Marvin Sordell will lead the line at West Bromwich Albion today as they look to hit the peak of fitness in time for the big kick off.
The two strikers have both missed three games in pre-season after suffering minor knocks in training.
But after returning for the final two warm-up matches against Fleetwood and Bradford City, the duo spearhead the Development Squad side in the behind-closed-doors game against the Baggies (2pm KO).
Clarets boss Sean Dyche said: “Marvin and Sam both need more game time to get their minutes up.
“They are behind some of the others in terms of game time, so this will be more fitness in the tank.”
Cameron Dummigan also starts, along with Luke O’Neill, Tom Anderson and Steven Hewitt, while new signing from AFC Wimbledon Daniel Agyei is among the substitutes.
BURNLEY: Mitchell, Dummigan, Anderson, Hewitt, O’Neill, Lowe, Frost, Trialist, Trialist, Vokes, Sordell.
