Sam Vokes says the Clarets squad are in confident mood as they head to Goodison Park this weekend.
The Wales international has won his place in the side back since returning from injury, partnering Danny Ings, with Ashley Barnes moving out wide.
And after a tough run of fixtures in the Barclays Premier League, he believes that his teammates can take great heart from recent results and performances ahead of the final run-in.
Vokes said: “The lads are feeling brilliant and it’s been a good little run for us recently, a tough one, but we’ve come out of it with some good results and performances so we go into this weekend full of confidence.
“Everton are another strong side in this league so it will tough again but we've got some big results against Manchester City, Tottenham and Chelsea.
“It doesn’t get any easier at this level, we know that, but it’s a chance for us to go to Goodison and show what we’re all about really.
“To show that the performances we’ve been putting in lately can justify a result.”
Burnley took five points from that run against the market leaders to keep themselves amongst the chasing pack to survive, and Vokes feels that has set them up nicely for the final six.
He added: “We’re looking at the run-in now after that tough run of fixtures and getting some results in those have set us up nicely.
“That starts at Everton and we know it’ll be another tough one but it should be a good game.
“It’s important that we get the results now and we know what we need now in the next few games.
“Personally, I feel like my fitness is really getting there and to get a first 90 minutes against Arsenal last weekend was great so I’m raring to go.”
