Terry Cochrane Book Signing

Former Claret Terry Cochrane will be holding a book signing for his autobiography ‘See You At The Far Post’ at the Clarets Store ahead of the Tottenham Hotspur fixture.

Cochrane, who is returning to Turf Moor for the first time, played made 85 appearances for the Clarets and will be in-store to sign copies of his book and meet fans between 11am-11.30am.

Perhaps his most famous moment, was a stunning strike against Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park when his solitary effort secured a 1-0 win.

His international career with Northern Ireland was best remembered for his spectacular goal against England in May 1980, the year when Northern Ireland won the Home Championships for the first time in 100 years.

In 1978, Middlesborough swooped for his services and paid a then club record fee to take him to Teesside.

Spells at Gillingham, Hartlepool United and Millwall all followed before he called time on his career. He later managed Glenavon in 2008 and then Hartlepool United Ladies in 2009.
