David Jones believes Burnley can beat anyone at Turf Moor ahead of the visit of Tottenham Hotspur on Easter Sunday.
The Clarets will head into the game buoyed by a significant victory over Manchester City last time out on home soil.
And the 30-year-old midfielder says there is belief coursing through the squad’s veins once more as they look to put consecutive wins together in front of a near sell-out crowd.
“A couple of weeks ago we got a very good result against Manchester City and then a disappointing one against Southampton where we thought we could have got something.
“It’s another big game on Sunday that we’re all looking forward to.
“It’s a very positive environment around here, win lose or draw but there is nothing that can replicate that winning feeling and the belief that filters through the squad after that.
“You can play well and put in good performances but it’s the points on the board that we’re looking for at this stage of the season.
“From the outside we’re probably not favourites to win the game but there is a belief in this squad.
“With a result in our last home game against Manchester City that’s something tangible we can take into this one, knowing that whoever comes to Turf Moor we have a real chance.”
Jones has been partnered by Scott Arfield in recent weeks since the long-term injury to Dean Marney.
That pairing looked more than a match for a star-studded Manchester City midfielder and Jones is enjoying playing a long side the battling Scot.
“Scott’s a very good player and he’s got a good understanding of the game. Especially in central midfield as he’s played that role before.
“Obviously here he has had more of a role on the wing but I’m really enjoying playing with him and I link we’ve linked up well.
“We developed a good understanding quite quickly and hopefully we can continue to have a good partnership until the end of the season.”
