Fellow goalkeeper Danijel Nizic was also handed a debut for Chorley in their FA Cup 4th qualifying round tie against Halifax Town at Victory Park and kept a clean sheet as The Magpies drew 0-0.

The Conference North outfit will now look to cause an upset in the replay on Tuesday at The Shay, against a Halifax Town side who sit 2nd in the Vanarama Conference.

Elsewhere, Luke O’Neill played the full 90 minutes for Scunthorpe United at Glanford Park, as the Iron lost 1-0 to an inform Notts County late on.
