Loan watch

6 October 2014

Check out how the Clarets on loan got on over the weekend

Luke O’Neill played the full 90 minutes as Scunthorpe United fell to a 2-1 defeat against Doncaster Rovers.

Russ Wilcox’s side had led through Rory Fallon’s left-footed drive but goals from James Coppinger and Nathan Tyson saw the visitors come from behind. The result leaves the Iron 23rd in Sky Bet League One.

Elsewhere, Tom Anderson scored his first goal for Lincoln City and was named man of the match in their 1-1 draw at home to Gateshead last Tuesday.

Anderson powered home a header on 55 minutes from Tomlinson’s centre as the sides shared the spoils at Sincil Bank.

However, The Imps were unable to build on that point at the weekend as they lost 2-1 away to Nuneaton Town, a result which leaves them 15th in the Vanarama Conference.

Jadan Hall started Chester’s 2-1 victory away at Telford United but did not feature in their latest fixture against Welling as the Blues drew 1-1.
