Defender Michael Keane played 45 minutes for England U21s on Friday as Gareth Southgate’s side secured a 2-1 victory over Croatia in the first leg of their U21 championship play-off at Molinuex.
Goals from Saido Berahino and Harry Kane means that England will take a narrow lead to Croatia on Tuesday evening.
Young goalkeeper Conor Mitchell completed the full 90 minutes for Northern Ireland U19s but was unable to prevent a 5-2 defeat to Russia U19s.
Mitchell is likely to be in action again tomorrow afternoon as they take on the Faroe Islands at The Oval in Belfast.
